"Not Out Of Sight Of Black Mountain" Run &
BBQ - (short ride for small bikes and
older bikes)
The Route will be: Services Club to Mt Stromlo via Adelaide Ave and Cotter rd, then to Coppins Crossing rd to William Hovell, then to Scrivener Dam via Glenlock Interchange, (veterans can skip Coppins and join us at Scrivener Dam) then anticlockwise around the Lake Via: Lady Denman Drive, Dudley St Yarralumla, Alexandrina Drive, Flynn Drive, King Edward Terrace, Bowen Place, Wentworth Ave, Canberra Ave, Dairy Road to Moreshead Drive to Parkes Way. Continue along Parkes Way down to Black Mountain Peninsular off Lady Denman Drive. Total of 58kms from Manuka (for the longer route) If you look at the map, you will see that there are quite a few opportunities for short cuts if you don't want to go the full distance.
