Run" - (short ride and
DISPLAY for small bikes and older
bikes)
Riders meet at the Services Club at 10:00AM. There will be an "Antiques Roadshow" at the Albert Hall on the day with guest appraisers and the Chief Minster attending. Our Events Manager, Mick Gentleman, has offered for us to put on a short display right out the front of the Albert Hall (1 hour) to coincide with their event. They are very excited with the idea and would love to see us there. We will be arriving around 10.45 and can stay until 12.15. Riders are asked to bring some antiques to gauge prices on as well as their bikes. After the display, we will ride to Bob Courtney's English Pub in Garran for an old style English feast. (Members only) |

Distance: 27kms from Manuka The Route: left canb ave, right sturt/jerrabomberra ave, left hindmarsh, 1st left down ramp monaro hgway,continue to roundabout morshead drive, turn left. 2nd right into staff cadet ave,left at bruche rd , 1st right morrison ave, 1st left parnell rd, follow parnell /robert campbell road to T, turn left onto fairbairn ave. turn left again at anzac parade, turn right at roundabout onto parkes way. follow parkes way turning down ramp onto lady denman drive. follow lady denman over scrivener dam all the way to roundabout turning left onto cotter road, left onto dudley st, left onto novar to yarralumla shops. going to have coffee at turkish take away opposite bus stop. some parking available on shops side but also across the road on grass next to bus stop.....should take about 25 mins?? - cheers simon |
