A big congratulations to Simon Whittaker for arranging this unique ride;
Starting off from the Ex-Services carpark whilst the sun still shone, we had a leisurely ride in the cool evening breeze, arriving at the Red Hill lookout restaurant for coffee just on dusk.
I apologise for not including some night photos, but my camera failed to produce the goods.
Needless to say, there weren't many Lucas-equipped bikes on the run, but I was particularly impressed that Jim Steed brought along his surprisingly nippy 350 Jawa.
We all enjoyed a chat and coffee outside the restaurant as the sun set and then set off for a slightly chilly ride home.
