We had a chilly turnout for the Loaded Dog run with ten riders braving the cold weather. Steve Keough and I followed in the Subaru (heater on) with the back up trailer. We left the club and proceeded through QBY to Bungendore for the regroup. John Pugh suffered a sever loss of wind in the rear tire and had to continue in the comfort of the Subaru with the BEESA safely strapped to the trailer. The only other occurrence on the way to the Loaded Dog was the weather, I'm sure they haven't turned on the windmills as yet because they feared the blades would fling the snow onto passing motorcyclists. Reaching the Loaded Dog we gathered for a feast of Aussie tucker and a beverage in front of the fire. It was so nice there it became very hard to get our riders to mount their worthy steeds for the trip home. In fact Geoff came out to the car park, looked at the sky and decided another beverage would send the clouds away. It was, as always a pleasant trip with our mates though. |
