Bikefest 2008 was organised by Sam Macauley from KickStart at Robbo's Motorcycles. The purpose of the fest was to launch KickStart's new website devoted to learner riders and safety, and to showcase the many motorcycling elements in the Canberra region. It was a great success and over 30 VVC bikes and members were in attendance (and those that signed the book are listed below). There were lots of entertaining side events, such as Stunt riding, Stay Upright, Trials, and trade displays. It started at around midday and went to after 3PM. With any luck they will arrange this event on an annual basis. Peter Toet
